The Zhongyuan Festival, also known as the Ghost Festival, is a traditional festival hold in certain East Asian countries like China, Japan, Singapore, ect. The fifteenth day of the seventh lunar calendar was originally a festival for celebrating a good harvest and rewarding the earth in the early autumn. Later, it was used by folks to commemorate the dead.
